The foundation for all of our ministry is the premise that Discovering, Trusting and Sharing provide a very helpful pathway to keeping Jesus' greatest commandments.

As we discover God’s great goodness we will also discover we can love Him because He loved us first.  The beautiful surprise of following Jesus is learning that the more you discover how good God is, the easier it is to trust Him.

Trust is the foundation for love in every relationship and it is no different in our relationship with God.  We won’t love God if we don’t trust God.  This is not a one way street, however.  God is the source of life and everything good.  The real life that we desire deep in our hearts comes to us when we trust God.

Sharing God’s kindness is what makes our love for God and others grow.  As we share God’s kindness with others, more of God’s kindness flows through us.  In this we find the truth of Jesus’ words, “It is more blessed to give than receive.”  (Acts 20:35)
“Taste and see that the Lord is good.”              (Psalm 34:8)

God does not need our worship.  He is God and will remain God whether we worship Him or not.  God has given worship to us as a gift to strengthen our confidence in trusting Him.  Because of this, our worship times are designed to help us discover God’s goodness.  As we celebrate God’s goodness in song and hear of God’s goodness through the preaching of His Scripture, we discover that a relationship with God is the source of the kind of life we long for in our hearts.  During worship, we also discover that God is big enough, loving enough and wise enough for us to trust Him.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.”                   (Proverbs 3:5)

Scripture teaches that the way to please God is by trusting Him.  At CAC, we meet in growth groups of 12-16 people to learn together how we can trust God.  Growth Groups meet in  throughout the year and you can generally sign up for one in September, January and April.  You will make friends, study the Bible and pray with other followers of Christ who also want to learn to trust God.

“When the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, 5 He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy.” (Titus 3:4-5)

When you discover God’s goodness and trust His wisdom, you will want to share His kindness with others. We understand that God draws us to Himself with His kindness, and that means the best way for us to help other people to discover God’s goodness and trust God’s wisdom is by sharing God’s kindness with them.  A healthy church family serves each other and the community in which it lives. We serve together in our Growth Groups and we also offer periodic local, national and international serving opportunities to anyone who attends CAC.

Discovering, Trusting, and Sharing is not just for adults!

Nursery - From the very beginning, we want even the littlest people of CAC to discover God’s goodness in the kind way we care for them during worship times.
Kingdom Kids - During worship, we offer a separate ministry for children from age three to children in fifth grade.  On their own level and with caring leaders, they begin to discover God’s goodness, learn to trust God’s wisdom and share God’s kindness.more
Plugged in Youth - 6th-12th graders meet together Wednesday nights to Discover and learn to Trust. Times are also planned for sharing God’s kindness in the community.more
