• Because Scripture says that the Kingdom of God is about righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.   (Romans 14:17)
  

• Because Jesus’ mission is a mission of joy as we partner with Him in bringing His kindness and goodness to the world. 
  

Yet most people don’t think of joy when they think about church.  They think of duty.  They think of morality and virtue.  They think of cold responsibility. 

But Jesus clearly cares about joy in His followers.  He is not holding out on us by making us wait until heaven to get joy   He wants to fill us with joy now.   He calls

us to join Him in His joyful mission.  He calls us to leave the discouragement of our own self-absorbed ways and partner with Him in restoring people to a fulfilling relationship with Him and others. 

This why we are enjoychurch.com.  We are not promising you a life of ease and favorable circumstances.  No one can promise that in this life.  Honestly, sometimes life stinks.  What we do promise is to help you get to know God who is the source of all joy and who wants to share His joy with you in all of your circumstances.  In everything we do, we seek to find joy by discovering God’s goodness, trusting God’s wisdom and sharing God’s kindness with others.”  This is the work of the Kingdom of God.
